If you thought the villain brawl was a bit sudden, well, now you know why it happened. Arianna does have that ability to sew discord. In my mind, she really was only affecting Carl Vaughan, Shiva, Stretch, and Zap, and is unable to get into the minds of Forsaken One and Jack-in-Irons. However, she didn't need to get into their minds, as they are so loyal to Dispawn, they will immediately defend him, violently.
